You can order embroidered workwear, PPE and promotional products with no minimum order, decorated in-house in Leeds and typically produced in three to five days.

Involution is a Leeds company that sells personalised clothing, embroidered workwear, promotional products and PPE to businesses. It says it has supplied promotional clothing, staff uniforms, branded workwear, corporate gifts and PPE since 1999, and that it decorates at its Leeds production site with its own team rather than a third party.

Alongside clothing, its website lists merchandise for marketing campaigns, events, staff rewards and customer giveaways, from printed mugs and pens to branded bags, tech gadgets, office essentials and corporate gifts. It says more than 50,000 products can be personalised.

Decoration and production

Production is in-house, and the company says it checks quality at every stage. Its methods are:

• Embroidery on Tajima machines with Madeira threads and Pantone-matched colours. Designs are digitised and a sample proof is sent for approval, and it will also embroider the customer’s own garments.
• Screen printing, which it describes as best suited to flat items such as T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies and tote bags, typically up to four colours, with metallic, reflective and puff effects available.
• Transfer print in vinyl or digital form, which it says needs no minimum order or set-up charges and suits small runs and one-offs. It is one of the methods behind its garment printing.
• Engraving, doming, pad printing, stamping and sublimation.

Clothing, PPE and brands

Its shop categories include T-shirts, headwear, workwear and uniform, business PPE, personalised mugs, office essentials, leaflets and tote bags. The PPE line covers safety headwear, hi-vis, outerwear and footwear. Its brand list includes Regatta High Visibility, Regatta Professional, Helly Hansen, Gildan, Fruit Of The Loom, Beechfield, Kustom Kit and Stormtech. Buyers can find it under workwear and uniforms, hi-vis clothing, polo shirts and clothing and workwear.

Trade accounts and ordering

The company states there is no minimum order, and its homepage gives a minimum of one on embroidered items. It quotes in-house production in three to five days and offers express delivery by tracked courier. Quotes are free, and it aims to respond within the same working day.

For repeat orders it builds online brand portals, a route into branded webshops and company stores, which it says are free to set up. They cover uniform allocations, budgets, approval levels and reporting, with items made to order in three to seven days and an account manager assigned.
