The company says it can quote for pens, mugs, water bottles and clothing, so one supplier can cover made-to-order textiles and bought-in products.

British Made Promotional Merchandise, shortened to BMPM, is a trading name of Clear Prospects Ltd, based in Blackburn, Lancashire. The company describes itself as a manufacturer and supplier of promotional merchandise and says it has produced promotional products since 2000. It describes its business as a textile factory specialising in logo-printed fabrics. Its product sections cover the home, office and living, travel and outdoors, and events and exhibitions.

Products and brands

The company says it makes fabric-based products in-house. Its website lists:

• Cushions, headrest covers, sashes, bunting and printed tablecloths for exhibitions
• Aprons in full-length or bar style, in adult and children’s sizes
• Fleece and sherpa blankets, hot water bottle covers and microwave heat packs
• Branded pump bottles, spray bottles and plastic jars, which it says salon and beauty clients order
• Coasters printed from UK stock, and mugs imported blank and branded in its factory
• Umbrellas, including The Fibrestorm Umbrella and The Value Storm Golf Umbrella

It also brings in eye masks and earplugs from long-standing Far East factories for branding in the UK.

Branding methods

The site lists dye sublimation, digital print, heat transfer, laser etching, pad print, embroidery and printed labels. Its aprons can carry a full-colour dye sublimation pocket, a one colour vinyl film print or embroidery, and it says blankets can be embroidered on larger orders. The company says orders start from one unit, with fast turnaround, so coasters can be ordered as a sample or in quantity. No lead time figure is published.
