SeedPrint

If you want event and business print that people can plant afterwards, SeedPrint prints UK-made seed paper badges, wristbands, coasters and stationery in 3 working days, with free next-day delivery to the UK mainland.

SeedPrint is a printer of plantable seed paper, trading as SeedPrint Limited in Leicester. The company says its paper, seeds and print are all made and sourced in the UK, and that the paper is made from post-consumer waste. It says its founder is the fourth generation of Willday Printers, an 80-year-old family-run business. SeedPrint sells business stationery, promotional print and event items, along with wedding and funeral stationery, through its online shop.

It is listed in our seed paper and plantables category, and also appears under eco and sustainable merchandise, UK-made merchandise and the Leicester hub.

Its website lists these products with starting prices excluding VAT:

The A5 and A6 product pages offer downloadable templates.

Events and exhibitions

SeedPrint has a page for events, exhibitions and festivals. It lists name badges, wristbands, place cards and tickets, and says the name badges are printed on UK seed paper. Buyers sourcing for shows can compare other suppliers in our event and exhibition merchandise, badges, wristbands and coasters and beer mats categories.

Ordering, lead times and delivery

Orders are placed online, and the product pages carry a request a quote form. A sample pack is listed at £5.00 ex. VAT. SeedPrint says products are printed in 3 working days from order confirmation, and that most jobs can be turned round in 1 working day through an express service arranged by phone. Its Christmas page notes that turnaround depends on artwork and quantity. Delivery to the UK mainland is free and next day via APC Overnight, with pre-10:30am, pre-12pm and Saturday upgrades available at checkout. No minimum order quantity is published.
