You can source branded merchandise from Pinksheep and have the same company store, pack and ship it, with your staff ordering through its own web store platform. Its website says every product in its range is graded on sustainability, so you can compare items on that basis before you buy, and it offers free demos of both its ordering platform and its sustainability platform.
Pinksheep, trading as Pinksheep Marketing Limited, is a merchandise agency based at Stafford Studios in Wallington, Surrey. It describes itself as a supplier of sustainable branded merchandise that helps global brands do merchandise “sustainably, at scale”. Alongside Wallington, its contact page lists offices in Warsaw, Poland and New Delhi, India. The team is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and you can start a project through its contact page. Pinksheep is listed in the BPMA distributor directory.
Products
The company says its range is hand-picked and graded for sustainability. Product lines shown on its website include:
- Bags, including tote bags, backpacks, cool bags and lunchboxes
- Drinkware such as mugs, cups and bottles, including metal bottles
- Clothing, including T-shirts, hoodies, jackets and headwear
- Plastic and metal pens, and notebooks
- Technology, including chargers, phone chargers, cables, powerbanks and speakers
- Umbrellas, sunglasses and tools
Sustainability platform
Pinksheep says that in 2020 it created Ora, which it calls the industry’s first platform for brands looking to buy sustainably. The company says Ora gives detailed insights and data on product choices, and that every pound spent contributes to planting trees, offsetting carbon and extracting plastic bottles, with running totals for each shown on its homepage. Ora is also offered as an optional add-on to its web store. If you are comparing eco and sustainable merchandise suppliers, our guide to eco-friendly promotional products and how to check the claims covers the questions to put to them.
Web stores, warehousing and delivery
Air is the company’s web store platform. Pinksheep says it lets users order from pre-approved, on-brand items, choosing “In Stock” items for rapid delivery or “Made to Order” for reorders. Administrators can set user permissions, control product access and set ordering limits, and see stock levels, order statuses and deliveries in real time. Software, warehousing and delivery are included as standard. An optional customer service add-on turns each end-user request into a ticket handled by a dedicated representative.
For storage and fulfilment, the company says you pay only for the storage space used, stock is tracked by barcode with real-time updates, and its warehouse is secure and insured. It stores, picks, packs and delivers merchandise worldwide, and says it has a dedicated European warehouse to meet EU requirements. Its kitting service assembles merchandise packs and gift boxes, which can suit staff welcome packs and swag boxes.
