terminic UK

terminic UK is the British office of terminic GmbH, a German calendar producer, based in Hull. It makes advertising calendars personalised with company branding for customers, business partners and employees. Its website dates the development of its first advertising calendar with a multi-month view to 1937.

The calendar range covers wall, desk and poster formats. Its website states that all calendars are produced in Bremen, Germany, with printing, further processing, packaging and dispatch handled at that location. The UK contact team advises on calendar selection, design, production and logistics.

Products and formats

• Monthly wall calendars offer three to eight months at a glance, with single-block and multiple-block options.
• Desk models include Desktop Planner quadro, Table Stand quadro and Tent Calendar focus.
• Top 14 poster calendars show December of the previous year, the current year and January of the following year. Sizes are 900 x 650 mm and 990 x 690 mm, both with German/English datepads and space for notes.

These products sit within calendars and diaries and stationery and office. Alongside calendars, the website lists promotional pens, notebooks, drinkware and bags, with customisation options.

Production and customisation

Calendar customisation extends beyond the advertising panel. Datepad background colours, numbers and day markers can be matched to corporate colours and typography. Buyers can specify combinations of languages and holidays, plus individually printed packaging. The website lists finishing options including lenticular printing, cold foil transfer, relief and fragrance lacquers, and gloss or soft-touch laminations.

terminic states that it holds ISO 12647 Process Standard Offset Printing and PSOaktiv certifications. Its services page says calendars use FSC-certified paper and cardboard, identified with FSC C014980, and cobalt- and mineral-oil-free printing inks. Its optional climate-neutral production service involves calculating production emissions and compensating for them through certificates for climate protection projects.

Samples and ordering

The UK team offers a non-binding quotation with a sample calendar and assistance with design, data processing, production standards, commissioning and logistics. For desk calendars, terminic describes a service covering advice, layout, printing, finishing, packaging and individual sending. Buyers considering a particular format can request information material or discuss the calendar specification with the sales team by email or telephone.
